Challenges:
• Provide technical support for office network infrastructure, including PCs, laptops, printers, firewalls, and hardware labelling.
• Assist in managing and maintaining servers, CCTV systems, access control systems, and laser marking systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes across multiple platforms, including ERP, Payroll, and Production systems.
• Offer user support and training on software applications; communicate with vendors or external software support as needed.
• Monitor and audit IT inventory to maintain an up-to-date record of organizational assets.
• Perform daily IT operations, including system monitoring, data backup (daily, monthly, and yearly), and routine maintenance.
• Monitor Fortigate Firewall and internet bandwidth usage to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Prepare IT resources for new hires, including setting up PCs, software installations, Google email accounts, and providing introductory IT training.
• Provide proactive technical support to minimize and prevent recurring issues.
• Administer antivirus solutions, monitor for threats, and respond to outbreaks promptly.
• Assist in ERP system administration and integrate Crystal Reports into ERP; develop SAP Crystal Reports as required.
• Possess working knowledge of SQL Server or other programming languages (an added advantage).
Minimum Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and basic server management.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and user support skills.
